Graded as 4 star from the Scottish Tourist Board, the recent renovation has been carefully executed retaining the character of the house with oak beams and an inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove adding charm and warmth to the spacious lounge. A large garden area to the front of the property provides space for you to relax and the resident donkeys are an added bonus to delight both children and adults. The island is rich in wildlife where deer, otters, seals, dolphins, golden eagles and sea eagles can easily be spotted throughout the area, the RSPB Sea Eagle hide is a short distance from the property.. The white sands of Calgary Bay are just a short drive away and there are many secluded beaches and bays to explore. Ach na Craig is an ideal base for touring, hillwalking and birdwatching or perfect for a family looking for a relaxing holiday in idyllic surroundings. Golf, fishing, sailing and pony trekking are all available nearby and courtesy mountain bikes are provided for use during your stay. There are village shops, hotels and restaurants in the villages of Dervaig (4 miles) and Salen (6 miles). The main town of Tobermory is 12 miles away where you will find a selection of cafes, restaurants and a supermarket.
