About Hunters Lodge Cottage rental includes
Ideally positioned just one mile from Carnoustie's championship links golf course and sandy beaches these creatively converted courtyard cottages make an ideal holiday base. Originally built in 1856 as the stables to Panbride House and accessed through a gravel courtyard they now offer very comfortably furnished accommodation and free entry to the indoor swimming pool and other facilities of the impressive neighbouring health club and physiotherapy centre. Glamis Castle (childhood home of the late Queen Mother) and the House of Dun are both well worth a visit as is the visitor centre at the Montrose Basin Nature Reserve. Just 6 miles away lies the ancient port of Arbroath (home of the famous Arbroath Smokie) whilst the city of Dundee (11 miles) is the setting for Discovery in which Captain Scott sailed to the Antarctic and HM Unicorn the oldest British-built warship still afloat. Shop and pub within 1 mile.
