The attractive fishing villages of Cullen and Portsoy are close by, whilst the Lecht and Cairngorm Ski Centres can be reached in an hour. Lossiemouth beach (20 miles) has a marina and lovely sandy bay as well as a lovely walk to Covesea Lighthouse and not to mention a championship golf course. Elgin,with its famous cathedral and renowned Johnstons Cashmere Mill is just 20 minutes drive, and Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands is only 50 miles.
